Wheel Throwing Taster Session

The perfect introduction to clay. This is an opportunity to explore the joy of pottery in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Designed to bring out your artistic spirit and mental well-being. Handcrafting with clay is not just about creating beautiful pieces - it's a meditative experience that has numerous benefits, from stress relief to feeling a sense of accomplishment and nurturing personal growth.

With class sizes capped at just three participants, this intimate atmosphere will provide plenty of one-on-one attention allowing for a deeper connection and tailored learning experience.

This taster session is ideal for beginners, offering a playful and relaxed approach to learning. You'll be guided through the basic skills needed to throw a small vessel on the wheel, with plenty of hands-on practice. By the end of the session, you'll have created your own unique pieces of pottery, of which one will then be glazed and fired.

All clay, glazes, and firing are included in the price of £60 per person. Each class lasts 2.5 hours, including time for clean-up at the end.
