Five-week Wheel Throwing Course (Age 8 - 16)

This course will run on Sundays.

May dates are: May 11, 18, 25; June 8, 15.
June dates are: June 22, 29; July 6, 13, 20

This is perfect for any child who loves to get creative and curious and isn’t afraid to get a little messy. Working with clay is a fun, hands-on way to build confidence and creative expression!

The studio is running a 2 hr wheel throwing session just for kids aged 8 and up! Over five weeks, they will learn the basics of throwing, shaping, and glazing their very own pottery pieces in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Class sizes are kept small (max 3 children) so everyone gets plenty of guidance and plenty of time on the wheel. No experience needed, just a willingness to get a little messy, creative and try something new.

Each week builds on the last and by the end of the course, they will have a collection of their own fired and glazed pieces to take home.

Parents / carers are welcome to stay during the session—there’s a lovely courtyard space where you can relax while the kids get creative.
